Our bodies use our senses – sight, sound, smell, taste, touch, –  to observe and receive information about the world around us.

But our environment and experiences are complex, and some of the safety-seeking mechanisms written into our nervous system are not serving our deepest needs and desires.

Using somatic integration we can use the intelligence of the body and the nervous system to heal and release.

During our time together we’ll get curious about what safety feels like in your body. Safety leads to presence, which opens up space for connection.

I’m here to witness and support you as you access and deepen your sense of safety, presence, and connection.

What To Expect During a Session

When you arrive for your session, I’ll make you some tea and we’ll spend a few minutes settling in. Wear comfortable clothing. You don’t need to bring or prepare anything.

We’ll start with looking around the room and talking about what you’re seeing, or naming what we are sensing in the present moment. This work adapts to your needs – sitting, standing, lying down, eyes open or closed, movement or stillness, with or without touch.

If it’s the right fit for your system, you will get cozy on the massage table with a variety of blankets and props. I’ll offer grounding touch on your lower legs and feet, and we’ll learn together about what kind of physical support feels best for you that day.

Together we will open up a gentle exploration of what you need, what feels right for you in the present moment.
